Step 1 - Finish the game first
Don't even try anything other! You can play on Modern difficulty/playstyle - You don't lose lives and this is recommended if you struggle with the game. I suggest beating the game first and unlocking all levels along the way. With doing this you will unlock Triple Spin skill - the best skill for time trial relics.
Step 2 - Do the time trials
Unpopular opinion, but this is the best way to learn all the levels and reduce dying. You will also need to beat all the levels, each by no deaths and collecting everything inside, so doing the time platinum relics in each level will improve your skill and reduce dying. Plus, you will memorize the level that way.
Hint: When you do the time trials, notice if time boxes are close to Nitro boxes. If yes, you can avoid those to spare time and just destroy the "!" at the end, you will get minus time for all boxes that the Nitro will destroy this way.
Step 2.1 - Do the 100% collectibles/No Death Runs + grab Tapes + colored gems
Each leves has 6 gems to collect in Normal and 6 in Inverted mode. You need to collect all the boxes and you can't die! Make sure to also grab the tape where there is one. You can do the time trial and afterwards 100% run - this will for sure mean you know the level by now and you are ready to do what you need to do. Note that you do NOT need the 80% Gem and Hidden gem for N.Sanely Perfect Relics
Step 3 - Beat all the tape levels
When you collect them all, you need to beat them and get all the boxes in each. Easier said then done! Maybe 3 tape levels are tricky, the rest is really easy comparing to every other challenges you need to overcome.
Step 4 - Unlock what you may miss at this point
Like miscelanious trophies in levels or whatever you may miss at this point.
Make sure to check all my topics for this game, I will do all islands walkthroughs where you can find everything you will need for each level. I also plan to do all the tape level videos. You can find the full youtube playlist here -> Crash Bandicoot 4 - All Videos

In order to unlock N.Sanely Perfect Relics you must collect all boxes in a level, but you DON'T need the Hidden Gem and 80% wumpa gem. The hardest part is that you need to finish the level without dying. There are 38 levels, so do the Normal runs with mentioned conditions. You can die in the Bonus stage, that doesn't count as death - which will make this easier. Otherwise, if you die, you need to Restart the level from the Options.

This is what grades this game a 9/10 difficulty. Platinum times are really tricky on some levels. Do not even try this without the triple spin skill (which you will unlock after beating the game). Hint: When you do the time trials, notice if time boxes are close to Nitro boxes. If yes, you can avoid those to spare time and just destroy the "!" at the end, you will get minus time for all boxes that the Nitro will destroy this way.
