Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Trophy Guide & Roadmap

Welcome to the new trophy guide, again, for FF7! This game will have more sequels than any other game as far as SE is concerned. This time we will be playing through Disk 2 of the original game, and this guide will help you collect everything there is in the game.
Before we start, there are a couple of links for connected game guides you can find on this site:

Step 1: Any Difficulty 100% Playthrough, while doing all Side Quests, Collectibles, World Intel, and Chapter-specific Trophies
This step alone will take you more than 100h. The game is huge, so you will need to collect a lot of things to unlock everything there is before you start your Hard difficulty playthrough. The biggest time-consumer will be Johnny's Treasure Trove in the post-game, but before that just focus on cleaning all world intels and scoring the highest scores in all mini-games. The only mini-game that doesn't require the perfect score is the Piano mini-game where you need rank A for all 6 songs (the last one is not needed, although it's the best of them all!)
There is a chapter select after beating the game, and it works like in the previous game - you load some chapter while you carry your progress, and whatever you do during the chapter it counts towards your completion. Point of no return will start when you reach the Northern continend and start with the Temple of the Ancients, so if you need to cleanup some things, you might want to do it before that, or after you're done with the game. So, chapter 13 will be that point, and the game will say so, but you can still travel everything at the start of the chapter.
Steps to consider during your playthrough
Materia leveling up: Always carry HP Up, and MP Up Materia on all characters. Since you will not be able to use Items during your Hard playthrough, level up Prayer, also equip Steadfast Block, Precision Defense, Healing, and Magnify Materia. You will speed up the process of preparing for the hardest challenges this way.
Buy Assess Materia from the vending machine in Chapter 2 Grasslands, at Bill’s Ranch, and always Assess enemies before you kill them. Chad's VR missions unlock based on your scanned enemy numbers in each region. Do not forget this step in order to save time.
Make a save before the Gilgamesh optional boss so you can master your skills and prepare for him in the hardest challenge later on.
Step 2: Post-game and Johnny Treasure Trove Items (All of them)
You need to collect all World Intel to develop all Materia at Chadley (you don't need all Caches, nor Chocobo Stops). Rank Highsore in all Minigames (except Piano). Johnny Treasure Trove is like a checklist of everything in the game what you need to beat to unlock "stamps" that goes in his collection. This will take another 20-30h in the Post-game to get everything.
Step 3: Defeat Gilgamesh and complate all Brutal/Legendary Chadley challenges
To get to the secret island where Gilgamesh awaits, you need to gather all Protorelics (Phenomena events in each region). After doing that, you will unlock remaining Chad challenges. Make the challenge "Brutal Challenge: Rulers of the Outer Worlds" a priority, it unlocks Gotterdammerung, the best accessory in the game. That accessory will make your life easier in the Hard playthrough.
You need to beat ALL challenges. If you're having a hard time, consider combining this step with your hard playthrough as you can find more weapon manuscripts on Hard difficulty, which can make you stronger and that can help a lot.
Step 4: Hard difficulty playthrough
When you have only this step left and you have your Materia and Gotterdammerung, the only thing left is to finish the game on Hard, and that can take 20-30h. Good luck!

There is no chance not to win a battle, so this trophy counts as the story-related. Simply win your first battle.
Pretty simple one - almost all enemies have some kind of weakness. Attack them with that weakness to unlock the trophy. Impossible to miss.
Some enemies like wolfs at the start of the game, or in Grasslands region will jump on you and bound you. Switch to some other party member and use ATB skills/abilities or just attack to free a bound ally from that state.
When you start doing Fiend Challenges, almost all of them have the requirement to stagger a foe. It can be done in multiple ways, but usually it happens when you attack an enemy with their weakness and keep attacking them while pressured to trigger stagger. Impossible to miss.
You will learn about limit break during the game. When the yellow bar near your health bar fills, you can use your Action menu to perform a limit break. Simply do so to unlock the trophy.
You will learn about summons during the game. When the summon bar fills all the way during the battle, with 1 ATB bar filled you can call a summon. Do so to unlock the trophy.
Synergy skills can be learned from the weapon upgrade tree. When you do so, you can hold R1 during the battle and use the learned skill with the party member for who you learned it with. Do so once to unlock the trophy.
You will learn about Synergy Abilities during the game. When your synergy bar fills during battles (with at least 2 party members that can perform the ability), you can use that ability to unleash a powerfull attack that will give you a certain boost and deal a bit of damage.
Side quests are marked as green on the map. You will unlock them soon by playing the story. You can simply pick a quest from the town boards and they will display on the map. It's really easy to follow them and complete them. As you progress you will unlock more quests. Complete one to unlock this trophy.
You need to equip a weapon and usually spam the skill on the weapon while equiped to learn the weapon skill, which can then be usable on any equiped weapon. By doing so once, you will unlock this trophy. More details and how to find all weapons can be found under the next topic:
Equip any type of materia on your weapon or armor and collect enough AP points after battles to level it up. Do it once for any materia to unlock this trophy.
