Final Fantasy 8 Remastered - Seed Ranking

When you return from Dollet mission and report to Cid, you will unlock SeeD Ranking and Seed Salaries. Based on your Seed Rank you get paid every X number of steps and collecting 100 points is one Seed Rank.

There are few ways to improve your Seed Rank. I will just mention first way and focus on easiest way to do so. If you are interested you can check guides about getting perfect scores on missions that can raise your rank as you play. 

So, first way is to play certain game missions in a way to get most Seed points. First mission like that is when you go to Fire Cave and fight with Ifrit. You need to select 10 minutes timer option and defeat him before clock goes to 0. After that, wait for couple of minutes (if you are left with 4 mins after defeating him, wait 4 mins) and then exit the cave. That will neat you 100 Seed Points which is 1 rank. Same is for some other mission, but this method is long and hard.

Some other methods involve defeating certain bosses. Also, defeating enemy grants 1 point, so you can grind it out as well.

Far the best method is to participate in test exams. After Dollet mission you can take tests under your Menu->Tutorial->Test. You can only take tests up to level you are (If you are level 10, you can test 10 tests). Each test raise your SeeD Rank up by 1, and last rank after 30 is A which you will need for a trophy. The best suggestion is to level up to level 30 and take exams then.
