Tales of Arise - All Artifact Locations

You can find 23 Artifacts in the game, and couple of them are missable! You will need them all for some side quest unlocks and for corresponding trophy (you need 20 for the trophy). When you defeat the 4th lord boss in the cruise ship Mobile Fortress Gradia, the ship sinks and you can't got back there, but although this one is missable, it will appear in Ganath Haros region if you missed it on the ship, Thistlym area, north part of the shore area on the map. With this in mind, you can't miss anything when ti comes to Artifacts.

Each Artifact unlocks a cheat that can be enabled from  Menu -> Field Guide -> Artifacts. (such as 80% EXP Boost, and many other modifiers).

You can find artifacts in a specific chests, for finding Owls, and for completing side quests. Artifacts are tied to the late game content (after getting Dohalim).

Story-related Artifacts (automatic, non-missable)

Artifact #1 (Crocodile Crusher)
Effect: Arte Set +1
Automatically unlocked during "Valley of the Four Winds" main quest, shorty after you get Dohalim as your party member (Menancia, after Talka Pond Road).

Menancia Artifacts

Artifact #2 (Glutton’s Guidebook)
Effect: Cooking Effects last 80% longer
Complete "The Phantom Flower of Nevira" quest. Go to Menancia, Autelina Palace (1F). Library to start it. You must reach Rena (final dungeon) first. Upon approaching the bookshelves next to the girl that gave you "Bibliophile" quest you will trigger a sub-quest. Go to Cyslodia, Nevira Snowplains and go to the quest marker. Defeat "Meneiys" side-boss.

Artifact #3 (Golden Suit of Armor)
Effect: Increases EXP earned from battle by 80%
Complete "Spirit Temple" quest. This one is avaiable after defeating the 5th lord in Ganath Haros realm, near end of story. Talk to the man in front of the white merchant cart in Menancia, Traslida Highway. Now visit Tietal Plains and enter a new dungeon, where you have to reach teleports and finally reach Grand Gnome boss. Defeat the boss to get the artifact.

Artifact #4 (Hellmask Fiend Skull)
Effect: +100% damage dealt and damage received
Reward for finishing Dohalim Solo Advanced Arena stage at Training Grounds (Menancia, Viscint). It's a Level 40 challenge.

Artifact #5 (Devil Sculpture)
Effect: Unlock Chaos Difficulty
Reward for finishing Dohalim Solo Ultimate Arena stage at Training Grounds (Menancia, Viscint). It's a Level 60 challenge.

Mahag Saar

Artifact #6 (Blade of Sealing)
Effect: Reduce all damage, both taken and inflicted, to just 1
Open chest in Mahag Saar, Adan Lake. You can enter that region via the south of Aqfotle Hills. Go all the way towards the tower on the northwest part of the map, defeat some enemies find that chest inside.

Artifact #7 (Lucky Cat Statue)
Effect: Increases SP earned from battle by 20%
Complet "Echoes" quest started in Mahag Saar, Niez. Unlocked after beating 5 Lords and when you return back to Menancia (when you can travel all around the whole world again). Talk to the old man in Niez next to the exit to Aqfotle Hills to start "Echoes" quest. You need to defeat the elite monster "Ruthless" (2 of them are in 1 fight!). Go to Este Luvah Forest, use the elevator to B1, and drop down the southwest ledge from B1 to B2. Follow the tunned on this side to reach your elite gigant

Artifact #8 (Drum of the Legend)
Effect: Increases Combat Points earned from battle by 80%
Complete "Farewell, Mage" quest that you can start in Mahag Saar, Niez (same client that gave you "Echoes" quest). You must complete other quests in Niez first. You will have to go to Mount Dhiara, Ridge and into a tower that was blocked before. Go to the top of the tower to fight a secret boss "Procella Sylph". It's a high-level boss, but I managed to beat him while being below level 60. Return to the quest giver to get the reward.

Artifact #9 (Quivering Candles)
Effect: More Ore
Reward for completing "The Mysterious Pair" quest. You can initiate it in Mahag Saar, Niez, after the custscenes. Talk to the colorful bard at the entrance. The pre-requisite is to finish "A Healer and Her Patients" quest, which you received automatically from story progress in Menancia -> Overseer Hill. You will need to find him the hidden object, refer to the side quest guide for more details.

Artifact #10 (Glutton’s Maze)
Effect: Cooking Effects last 10% longer
Complete "Gourmet Saga: Prairie Scent" quest. Exit Niez (Mahag Saar region) and find a collapsed man just next to the exit. Remember him? He’s the same guy with 2 Gourmet Saga quests you did for him before. For him to show up you must have done these 2 quest first (in Cyslodia & Menancia). This time he wants Lettuce, Apples, Lemons, all 3 are found in Mahag Saar, Adan Lake (the area south on this map).

Ganath Haros

Artifact #11 (Drums of the Master)
Effect: Increases Combat Points earned from battle by 20%
Open a red chest in Ganath Haros, Aureum Falls, Waterfall Basin area. You must make a jump down the waterfall and then climb up the ladder, get past some enemies and then climb up again. After one more encounter, you will find the chest.

Artifact #12 (Golden Lucky Cat Statue)
Effect: Increases SP earned from battle by 80%
Unlocked after beating 5 Lords and when you return back to Menancia (when you can travel all around the whole world again).
Talk to the old man standing at the top of the village (higher level). In the Shinefall Woods head to the very south where you can now swim through the water to reach a new cave, Fogwharl Limestone Caverns. At the end of the cave you must defeat a boss "Luo Undine", and then visit the secret fishing spot and return to the quest giver.

Artifact #13 (Silver Suit of Armor)
Effect: Increases EXP earned from battle by 20%
Complete "Their Future" quest in Pelegion, Level 3 area. You first must finish their "Missing Lover" quest in Thistlym, and then watch their wedding. This will complete the quest and you will get your artifact.

End-game Artifacts

Artifact #14 (Golden Fairy Statue)
Effect: More Ore
Complete "A Humbling Lesson" quest in Cyslodia, Cysloden, Fountain Plaza Avenue. This is one of the last quests in the game; I unlocked it after beating the game and clearing other quests up until that point. You need to have next Artifacts: Glutton’s Guidebook, Golden Suit of Armor, Drum of the Legend, and Golden Lucky Cat Statue. All of these are rewards for quests "The Phantom Flower of Nevir", "The Spirit Temple", "Farewell, Mage" and "Untamable Rage". This unlocks "Brave New World" on Fountain Plaza Avenue, pretty neat bathing scene, after which you get "A Humbling Lesson" from the same client (bathing for girls).

Artifact #15 (Glutton’s Code)
Effect: Cooking Effects last 20% longer
Complete "Global Connection" quest in Calaglia, Mosgul, which gets unlocked after completing "Gourmet Saga: Soft and Fluffy". You will have to enter the Glanymede Castle 3F and find the same guy from the previous quests. Give him x6 Wheat and x6 Eggs, both bought from merchant in Ganath Haros, Pelegion, Inn). Note that this is very late-game quest.

Artifact #16 (Mechanical Doll Accessory)
Effect: Makes you invisible
Reward from the red chest in Other region, The Otherworld, Land of Judgment. First finish "Spirit Temple", then "Another Hillside Anomaly", and lastly, "Otherworldly Visitors" quest. It’s tied to the Tietal Plains extra dungeon. After defeating the Level 95 boss "Chronos" in the last layer, check the red chest to the right side of him. 

Artifact from Owls

Artifact #17 (Battle Maiden’s Shield)
Effect: Carry Over Equipment to New Game+
Location: Calaglia, Glanymede Castle, Lord’s Chamber
Check the throne in the Lord’s Chamber after reaching the final dungeon Gegham Helgarahi on Rena and finding first 32 Owls (plus talking with the Owl king).

Artifact #18 (Vivid Sphere)
Effect: Carry Over Statistics to New Game+
Location: Calaglia, Iglia Wastes
Found in Iglia Wastes on top of a mountain south on the map. Climb the first vines and then use Dohalim to grow some leaves on the upper wall (action point on the map).

Artifact #19 (Broken Machine Gun)
Effect: Carry Over Money and Items into New Game+
Location: Cyslodia, Riville Prison Tower, Hidden Chamber
Found in the Hidden Chamber that can be accessed through the Office in Riville Hidden Tower. After defeating "Polychepus" Gigant during corresponding quest, you get the key to that chamber

Artifact #20 (Ancient Excavator)
Effect: Carry Over Character Levels into New Game+
Location: Menancia, Autelina Palace (2F), Guard Room
Check inside the Guard Room on the 2nd Floor of Autelina Palace.

Artifact #21 (Metal Miner’s Cap)
Effect: Carry Over Arte Proficiencies into New Game+
Location: Other, Uninhabited Island
This one is located next of the boss on top of the hill in Uninhabited Island. To get to this island, you need to start "Beyond the Grave" quest in Tuah Seashore that can be reached from Thislym. Afterwards, go to Mahag Saar, Hidden Warf and talk to Mahavar, select "Uninhabited Island" as your destination

Artifact #22 (Trident)
Effect: Carry Over Skills into New Game+
Location: Ganath Haros, Del Fharis Castle, Lord’s Chamber
Check the throne of the Lord’s Chamber area

Artifact #23 (Machine Beast Statue)
Effect: Carry Over Outfits into New Game+
When you find all 38 Owls, go to Owl Forest and talk to the Owl king to claim your reward.
