Tales of Arise - All Owl Locations

You can find 38 Owls in the game in total. Nothing is missable, except the Owl #26, which gets unobtainable after you defeat the 4th lord boss in the cruise ship Mobile Fortress Gradia. After that the ship sinks, you can't go back to ship. Although this one is missable, it will appear in Ganath Haros region if you missed it on the ship, Thistlym area, north part of the shore area on the map. So, with this, nothing is missable in this game when it comes to trophies. Last 6 Owls start appearing when you collect first 32 Owls.

When you reach Nevia Snowplains in Cyslodia Realm, you will get the Sub-Quest "The Owl Forest" at the start of the ares. Talking with the Owl will take you to the Owl King in the Owl Forest, where you can talk to him to get the prizes in exchange for the Owls you've found. When you gather 32 Owls, talk to the Owl King to unlock last 6 Owls.

Note that all of below Owls locations are explained with the map being fixed (no ability to rotate the map from the game settings), and when you find an Owl, it will mark the location on your map, which makes it easy to check where you miss one after unlocking fast travel (check for while owl icon).

Location: Sandinus Ravine
Southeast from the entrance to Ulzebek, look for it from the bridge.

Owl #02
Reward: Rabbit Ears
Location: Ulzebek
Climb on top of a house in Ulzebek, on the east side of the settlement. There is a ladder inside the house, and a second ladder on the balcony, which will lead you to the top.

Location: Iglia Wastes
Go to the top of the southwest hill in Iglia Wastes, you can use the ladder from the western side, then just reach the south top of that hill (it's a bit lighter on the map).

If you look at the map, enter the side path on the right side just north of Mosgul entrance (southeast part of the map)

Location: Mosgul
Check the hill southest from the entrance, it's at the western side, check behind the bricks (you need to walk the wodden bridge to see it).

Location: Trench of Flames, Castle Gates
It's between the interrsection and the Gates of Fire exit, somewhere in the middle inside the house (when you turn right at the interrsection, check inside the first house).

Directly north from the teleport, north wall behind a fence (somewhere in the middle between East Side and Lacerda Cliffs, but more towards East Side).

On the 3rd floor of Glanymede Castle, check the southwestern room next to some chickens.

Check the side of the bridge (a bit southwest before the entrance to Messia 224).

From the White Silver Plains exit, take the path up the left and find this owl in a bucket behind the cow and some king of stable.

In the middle of the big lake, which is in the huge opened area northwest on the map. Owl is sitting on a rock.

Location: Riville Prison Tower, 2F
This owls is on a bookshelf in the south-eastern room of the 2nd floor of Riville Prison Tower, you will have to go to this side anyway, so just make sure to enter all rooms.

Check on a tree before the bridge leading to Upper Level - Safar Sea Cave area. There is an person lying on the floor as well here.

This owl is hidden in the field next to the horse stable, which is just east from the bridge that leads here.

Location: Tietal Plain
Enter Tietal Plain from the Traslida Highway, then check the south-east corner, Owl is sitting on top of a stone arch, you need to walk below it, turn around and look up.

Check the market stall in the middle of Viscint, east from the Inn, it's before the third part that leads to Talka Pond Road.

Find it inside the kitchen of the 1st Floor of Autelina Palace.

Northwest from the Adan Lake exit, owl is sitting on a destroyed house close somewhere in the middle between the mentioned exit and north edge of the map.

Location: Adan Lake
You can enter Adan Lake from the Aqfotle Hills area. You need to reach the bottom, and then start you way uphil, all the way towards the tower in the northwest part of the map. Before the tower you can fall down the path and at the end of that path on top of a big stone gate is your owl.

You can enter Adan Ruins from Aqfotle Hills. If you look at your map, the owl is just to the west from the upper 2 ladder icons.

Owl #26
Reward: Butterfly Wings
Location: Mobile Fortress Gradia, Ship Interior Level 2
During the main story you will go onboard of a big ship. When you reach "Ship Interior Level 2", check one of the cabins, the second one from the top left on the map contains an owl. Be very careful, when you complete the ship, you CANNOT go back anymore, making this highly missable. 

Although this one is missable, it will appear in Ganath Haros region, Thistlym area, north part of the shore area on the map. So, with this, nothing is missable in this game when it comes to trophies.

Just to the northwest of exit that goes to Thistlym before you exit, turn right).

Reward: Star Hair Clip
Location: Thistlym
When you are facing exit from Thistlym to Shinefall Woods, look left and spot the Owl sitting on the brazier.

Owl #29
Reward: Right Bandage
Location: Shinefall Woods
To find this owl, you will have to walk on the big arch. From the entrance (Thistlym), folow the southest road, continue west when it branches to the south (look at your map, instructions are according the the map), and you will come under the arch. Go forward, climb the near hill, then go back and walk the arch to find the owl at the end.

Western area of the 3 areas on this map, at the south-eastern part of that western area.

Reward: Hootle Doll
Location: Del Fharis Castle, Central Entrance Plaza 4F
It's in t he area where one of the green glowing Health/CP refill spot is, plus the elevator to Hanging Garden. Check on the oposite side of the elevator to see it there.

Owl #32
Reward: Sad Glasses
Location: Pelegion, Level 2
OSitting on the wall on the arch in the middle of the southwest part of the map. It only appears when you defeat the 5th Lord, so come here then.

Last 6 Owls

To make the remaining 6 Owls spawn, you must reach Rena (the final dungeon, Gegham Helgarahi), collect all 32 Owls, and then return to the Owl King in The Owl Forest. Claim all rewards if you didn't, and talk to the king. When you land on mentioned final dungeon area, you will get the notification that you unlocked remaining Owls. Now you can go and find them.

Location: Calaglia, Glanymede Castle, Lord’s Chamber
Check the throne in the Lord’s Chamber after reaching the final dungeon Gegham Helgarahi on Rena and finding first 32 Owls (plus talking with the Owl king)

Reward: Vivid Sphere
Location: Calaglia, Iglia Wastes
Found in Iglia Wastes on top of a mountain south on the map. Climb the first vines and then use Dohalim to grow some leaves on the upper wall (action point on the map).

Owl #35
Reward: Broken Machine Gun
Location: Cyslodia, Riville Prison Tower, Hidden Chamber
Found in the Hidden Chamber that can be accessed through the Office in Riville Hidden Tower. After defeating "Polychepus" Gigant during corresponding quest, you get the key to that chamber.

Reward: Ancient Excavator
Location: Menancia, Autelina Palace (2F), Guard Room
Check inside the Guard Room on the 2nd Floor of Autelina Palace.

Owl #37
Reward: Metal Miner’s Cap
Location: Other, Uninhabited Island
This one is located next of the boss on top of the hill in Uninhabited Island. To get to this island, you need to start "Beyond the Grave" quest in Tuah Seashore that can be reached from Thislym. Afterwards, go to Mahag Saar, Hidden Warf and talk to Mahavar, select "Uninhabited Island" as your destination.

Location: Ganath Haros, Del Fharis Castle, Lord’s Chamber
Check the throne of the Lord’s Chamber area

When you find all 38 Owls, go to Owl Forest and talk to the Owl king to claim your rewards, watch the final scenes and try to leave. This will trigger another scene and you will finish the quest and unlock the trophy for your trouble.
