God of War: Ragnarok - Favours Guide


Favours are like side-quests, each giving you either a trophy or some good upgrade. Some are fetchy, and you don't even have to do these, and some are long, usually leading to a trophy and some good rewards.

Swartalfheim

  • In Service of Asgard
    Region: Niđavellir
    Talk to Raeb after you talked to him about the main quest. This quest will be marked on your map so it's easy to follow. You need to turn off 3 cauldrons to finish it.
  • The Crucible
    Region: Modvintir's Rig
    Open Legendary Chest #1 to start this one.
  • Born from fire
    Region: The Watchtower
    Complete the first Draugr challenge (defeat the mini-boss) to start the quest.
  • The Weight of Chains Part 1
    Region: Lyngbackr Island
    Land on the island north from the "Bay of Bounty" letters on the map to start the quest. You need to get the keys, which you will find after dropping down the hole on this island, on the upper floor. Make your way to the top while destroying the exploding potions to reveal the path. At the top rotate the wheel all the way to lower the platform and throw your axe at the circle mechanism to stop it from returning back up. Go back where you climbed and take the right path while climbing, land on the platform, call your axe and jump from above to destroy the stone doors on the ground. Destroy all enemies here and open a chest to get Watchtower Key. This is the key that opens locked doors here in this realm, on the top of The Watchtower area.
  • The Weight of Chains Part 2
    When you get the key from the Lyngbackr Island, return to The Watchtower and open the locked doors. Ring the gong to reveal the island on the middle of the area. You will have to unchain this beast now, so look for the docking point on the island on the southern side. You will have to cut the chains and shoot the chains that emerge from the water afterwards. This will reveal a new patch, on top of which you can find Lore collectible. Across the Lore tablet climb the ledges and make your way towards the end where you can find Artefact. Another way from the Lore tables is by swinging across. Go there now. Follow the path, and after climbing the chains down you will find a second beast chain. Release it. Destroy the nest closely by to reveal a bomb. You can carry this and throw at the golden obsacles to destroy them. Simply carry one back to where you went after the first whale chain and toss it across the way to reveal a path. Swing there and crawl through the hole on the right, look on the left to find the Raven. Return back to bombs, take one and look on the northern shores. Throw it there to reveal a new docking point.
    Dock there now. Climb up, defeat enemies, open doors to reveal a shortcut. Return where the enemies were, climb up, destroy the third and the last whale chain. You will have to glide on the next island where the Legendary chest is, and from there you can destroy the chains.
    Now make your towards whale eyes on the left southern side, inspect the whale to finish the favour and unlock the Making Amends trophy.
  • Spirit of Rebellion
    Region: Niđavellir
    The same area where Berserker Gravestone is, check the wall and shoot your spear so you can jump across. If you dock on the beach west from the north village exit (west from the Niđavellir letters on the map), you can find this location. Durlin is waiting for you here, talk to him to start the favour. You can start it after getting the spear weapon. Make your way to Dragon Beach, climb all the way up now that you have a spear and you will enter Alberich Hollow. At the start on the bridge is a mirror you can use to display a way north, so inspect the stone hammer to raise it, under which is the chest with the Hammer of the Revolution key item for Durlin. Return it back to him to complete the favour and unlock the Rebel Leader trophy, and Mountain Splitter (Light Runic Attack).
  • The Lost Treasure
    Region: Dragon Beach
    Left of the Nornir chest are some chains. Climb them, use the spear to climb one more time and talk to the spirit. You can find his son on Alberich Island if you shoot the spear and climb the previously unrechable area. This is where the son is, talk to him. Continue the path, at the end after you cross to the other platform and ride the elevator up, continue until you reach the chest. Return back to the father to finish the favour.
  • A Viking Funeral
    Region: Any, talk to Lunda the blacksmith after beating the game
    When you talk to her you will start this favour. After that move to Svartalfheim, Niđavellir area and enter the pub to talk to all of the crew there. Now, go to Appelcore Descent Mystic Gateway which is where you need to go. If you can't, start from the first gateway and use the device left to reach this island. Approach the crew to finish the favour, and to unlock the Funeral for a Friend trophy.

Niflheim

  • The Eyes of Odin
    Region: The Raven Tree
    Enter Niflheim and open a Legendary chest in front of you. You will have to find a certain number of Odin' Ravens to open more chests, and when you open all 6, this favour is done.

Alfheim

  • Vulture's Gold
    Region: The Canyons
    At the entrance of this area, just through the doors next to the Aflheim entrance teleport check the floor and pick up the lore. That will start the favour. If you venture further inside the Canyon (in the huge open area), check the skeleton head on the map, go there, climb the first ledge and find the buried treasure to finish the favour. Reward: ?
  • Secret of the Sands
    Region: The Canyons
    When you reach the area with the blacksmith, simply talk to him to start the favour. Now you need to enter the open big area a bit further from the blacksmith, and go southwest where you can enter the temple. You will have to use your axe to cut down vines with one go. It will usually require to align perfectly or to use the purple reflecting surfaces to do that. First vine is a single vine, for the second use the purple surface to reflect and destroy all 3. In the room with a lot of purple surfaces climb up once, then go right from where you can create a shortcut and shut 3 vines below. You will find a red chest and Lore here.
    Continue climbin up. Glide the rope and left are some stone pillars you can use to bounce further. Do not worry about the Nornir chest at the bottom, you will get it later, but open a shortcut. Travel back towards the pillars and cut the connected vines via purple surface that you see from the Nornir chest. That will open a new path, so bounce the stone pillars to reach a new path. Drop down, open a shortcut doors. You can see one switch for Nornir chest - hit that first, run down towards the chest, throw your axe towards the one on the left, then the one on right inside the passageway. Return back up, go down the chains, defeat enemies and crawl through a hole. The next room has 2 gold blocking paths, destroy the exploding potions behind them and you can shoot the purple surface to reveal a red chest. Continue down the road. You have to shoot the vine and then the surface in the next area, so it hits the rest of the vines. Jumb across the gap, turn left, shoot the potion, climb where the potion was and use the surface up to destroy next set of vines. You will reach a hanging surface. Turn it right once and shoot to get rid of the remaining vines.
    Next section is full of flying, exploding enemies. Soon afterwards you will reach a big room with massive jelly.
    Destroy potion on the left and shoot through the first vine to hit the reflecting surface which should hit the rest. It's a bit tricky, stay a bit futher, it bounces weird on this point. Now you can shoot the upper vines on the right, then on the left and the jelly is free!
    Exit the temple and pick up the golden chest along the way. 
    When you finish the temple, go towards the middle of the map and cut the last red vine to let the jelly go. That will finish the favour and Hafgufa is free, congrats.
  • The Elven Sanctum Part 2
    Region: Freyr's Camp in Vanaheim, The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim
    You will trigger this favour in Vanaheim and continue in The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim. Enter the northestern sanctuary on the map (before you enter, right of the doors is the artefacts you can pick up). Go through doors when inside, and go straight to find a lore on the table. There is one more Lore in the far back on the table, stone tablet Lore next to the tables, stone tablet on the middle upper legde on the side, Legendary chest on top, Lore scroll next to the chest and the favour key item Consul's Journal on the upper floor. Pick that up, try to leave and defeat The Maven. She gives you nothing. Exit the sanctuary to complete the favour. You will earn some EXP, but nothing else.
  • Song of the Sands
    Region: Triggered as you enter The Forbidden Sands area.
    As soon as you enter you will trigger this favour. It's about setting free another Hafgufa, and unlocking a trophy! The entrance to the cave is marked on your map, but basically it's a bit in front of you and to the right from the entrance of the area. Climb down, shoot the green pulsing wall with sonic arrows and you can now go straight and jump left across the pit (but the doors are blocked, you will return from this path). This is The Burrows area.
    Left go straight, it's the only path we can follow. After you jump across, look behing - you can climb back up, open a red chest and open a shortcut. Return, go down now. There are orange slimy doors on the left - shoot them with your sonic arrows, and you will reveal a sonic wall, so shoot that one as well. Follow the path around, then start wall mounting, but before going along the way look down - you can chain yourself down and get a red chest. Now, follow the other path. You will reach some vines. Aim at the purple reflecting surface on the floor to hit/cut that vine. Jump down, defeat some small enemies and go straight until you enter a bigger room. Jump left and after you defeat some enemies there are some blue letter on the wall. Read them to get a Lore. 
    On the ground floor you can squize through. Look left immediately - shoot the hanging mirror to turn it left once, then shoot it to reflect towards the vines to cut them. You can now grab a red chest. Continue the path, you will have to shoot the orange slimy doors again to reveal a reflecting surface, which you then need to shoot to cut the vines. Jump and chain yourself further, defeat the enemies when you climb down. Now, there are 2 paths - 1 that is just a chain jump on the ledge, and the other on the wall where the vine is. That one leads to a chest. But, climb the first ledge and shoot you axe in the reflecting surface next to the vines on the wall across so you can climb it. Do so, and you will reach a Legendary chest. You can shoot the Lizzard enemy from here, he is just down the ledge you are on.
    In the next area fall down on the left and shoot the line of vines. You will now enter a big room with that big jelly fish. First, go left and shoot the vine so you can swing across. Swing, and look up and to the left - shoot the sonic arrow to open slimy doors, shoot with your axe to get rid of the vines. Swing back across and you can now line a straight shot to get rid of next 3 vines in the air. Swing back across and do the remaining 3. Proceed, jump down, kill some enemies, pick artefact up, and open Legendary chest. Continue and you will eventually leave the cave, so make your way towards the favour icon on the map, which is just few meters from this exit/entrance of the cave. You will free another Hafgufa and earn the Full Gufa trophy.
  • Freyr's Gift
    Region: The Forbidden Sands area, western secluded area where the big sculpture holding a sword is.
    Enter and shoot the raven, then move inside.  Climb on the right side and get rid of the vines from up there. You need to carry 2 crystals here on the top, one on each side. Pick up the one below the left platform and carry it back on the right to place it there. You can now cut the vine that was underneat the left side. You can shoot some sonic arrows below the right platform, and go around it to find the second crystal. Carry it and place it where you picked up the first one to get the platform up, then return where you picked up the last crystal and find another one at the other end. Carry that one on the top of the left platform and place it there to light the stone tablet, which you then need to read to get a Lore, and pick up whats on the floor next of the stone tablet to finish the favour. You will earn Invoke the Storm Runic Summon for Freya.
    You will need to take out the crystal below the left plaftorm and carry it to the back so you can set a platform to get out of this area.
  • The Desert Door
    Region: The Forbidden Sands area, find 2 pieces of key parts and open doors on the north.
    First part of Alfheim Barrens Key Half is in the middle of blue circle few meters left of The Forbidden Sands entrance. Second part is again inside the blue floor circle, and this one is at the southwest edge of the environment from where you freed Hafgufa; it's a bit left and down from the middle of the map. You can have 2 halfs, so make your way north from the giant statue holding a sword, climb on top of the platform and use the keys on the doors. You have to beat Gravel Belly mini-boss. Pick up leftovers to get Alfheim's Fortune Amulet Enchantment, Dragon Claw Resource (to craft Dragon Scaled Armour required for a trophy, and one of  the best armours in the game), Skirnir's Gambanteinn Resource, and Dragon Tooth x2.
  • Nine Realms in Bloom
    Region: The Forbidden Sands area, southwest corner. You can find a climbing ledge there, but do not climb, instead go left and pick up the flower 1/9 from the floor at the end. This starts the favour, you can now find the rest of the flowers which is easier said than done.
    Flower 2/9 - Swartalfheim, Niđavellir. At the southeastern part of the village there are some bridges. UIse your spear weapon to form a path and jump across.
    Flower 3/9 - Muspelheim, The Crucible. Find 2 Muspelheim Seed Halfs to enter this realm and the area, then find it one ledge down from where you start, on the right side.
    Flower 4/9 - Helheim, Hel's Perch area, after The Silent Clearing, after the boss and Legendary chest. You will end up in one big room from which you have to grapple on the ledge above. Before doing so, shoot the spear from below to form a path on the right side up, and then grapple up, go right and find the flower on this path.
    Flower 5/9 - Vaneheim, The Sinkoles. Go where the altar is; the area where dragon attacked you. From the altar go south and you will see it on the floor.
    Flower 6/9 - Niflheim, Mist Fields, in front of the teleport.
    Flower 7/9 - Jotunheim, Angrboda's Treehouse. Finish A Stag for All Seasons favour to get Pouch of Yggdrasil Seeds Key Item, which you need to reach some areas you can't otherwise. This is one of them. Activate it when traveling after touching Mystic Gateway.
    Flower 8/9 - Midgard, Sanctuary Grove. Finish A Stag for All Seasons favour to get Pouch of Yggdrasil Seeds Key Item, which you need to reach some areas you can't otherwise. This is one of them. Activate it when traveling after touching Mystic Gateway, it's at the far south on the map, and you can access after beating the game. Check outside the turtle house, on the side.
    Flower 9/9 - Niflheim, Aesir Prison Wreckage. You can enter this location left from the crow tree. I did this after beating the game. At the bottom of the prison is the flower.
    When you collect them all, you get The Florist trophy.

Vanaheim

  • The Mysterious Orb
    Region: Freyr's Camp
    Talk to Brok and Lunda in the camp to start the quest (after you return from The Abandoned Village in this realm). You will have to reach Cliffside Ruins next, it's the shore south of the island with the red tree on the map. Here you will have to lower the chains on the north (climbing the left wall, jumping the platforms and shooting the vines where the chain is). When you climb the chains interract with the mirror and open the river to access the southern parts. Go there, and when you reach the doors stick to the left wall to enter the cave. When you follow that cave, you will reach one shore on the right, and one at the north (The Veiled Passage area). Land on the one on the right (where the Nornir chest is) and check the floor for the Mysterious Orb. Return the orb back to Luna to unlock the New Friends trophy.
  • The Elven Sanctum Part 1
    Region: Freyr's Camp
    You will trigger this one as you progress the story. After you complete Vanaheim for the story purposes you will own imbued Magic chisel, which is used to write on the stone mirrors to open closed passageways. If you return to Alfheim and go to The Barrens, you can now open the passageway towards the northwest region The Forbidden Sands (through The Hjarta which is along the way). When you enter The Forbidden Sands and go all the way to the northeast inside the temple you see there, that is where this quest continues, so I will continue Part 2 under Alfheim.
  • Freya's Missing Peace
    Region: Freyr's Camp
    You will trigger it while using the boat that you will use to reach other areas in this realm. It's part of the story, so this is not missable. To continue, first complete Favour - Consience for the Dead. That one will open the southwestern part of River Delta area and you will reach Goddess Falls after you lower the doors on the river. Land there, climb up, climb up again, and at the north are the doors for Vanir Shrine. When you beat some enemies go northeast, burn the vines on the bridge and lower it down. Continue, turn right, defeat enemies. This room holds Lore. Continue through the only doors you can, and break the wooden doors in front of you. You can find Artefact here. Follow the other path before the wooden doors and open the doors at the top. Immediately to the red are some vines, burn them and shoot the chain through the crack. Go back to open Legendary chest. Return to the previous area, defeat enemies. Inspect the pedastal at the end, Freya will now open some vine doors where you can activate the first mirror.
    Back to the entrance, this time go left. You need to line purple arrows so they explode on the door locks to open the doors. As you enter and climb the first part there is Lore on the wall on the right. Up again towards the last area is another Lore on the tablet on the left. Inspect the pedastal with Freya again, she will open doors, active the mirror to form a way at the entrance. Go across the newly-formed bridge and pick up Lore before using yet another mirror. You will get Mardoll Sword for Freya and unlock the It Was a Good Day trophy. Before you exit this room, check the right side where Lore is on the stone tablet. Exit the temple, and try to leave this shore at the bottom of Goddess Falls. You will need to defeat 2 Dreki mini-bosses. They will give you some Dragon Tooths, which is something you will need later on. They also give Seal of the Falling Star Amulet Enchantment.
  • Cure for the Dead
    Region: Pilgrim's Landing
    Dock at the northwestern shore of River Delta, left of the lower of 2 small islands if you look at the map. Talk to the spirit to start the favour. Climb across the spirit and shoot the chandelier with the purple arrows to get rid of the red vines, then shoot the left and right bridge levers with your Axe to bring it down. Check the ground after the bridge for first ingredient. You can find the second ingredient in the next area, alongside with Lore on the stone tablet. Be careuf about the enemy, you need to destroy the little one that is making the others immune.
    Now, look up and to the right when you're facing the next bridge. Shoot the lever on the high wall that is carying the next 2 chandeliers. Swing them right to light the right one, then make a connection by lining the 2 purple arrows, shoot the right chandelier with 3rd purple arrow so you can carry the fire on the left, then swing the whole thing left, shoot with purple arrow to open a path. Shoot the 2 levers on the bridge to lower it down. You will find Legendary chest, last favour ingredient and Raven through the wall left of the chest in the last area. Your reward is Svartalfheim's Fortune Amulet Enchantment.
  • Garden for the Dead
    Region: Noatun's Garden
    One of the first southest shores when you enter River Delta and start your way towards southeast. It's almost directly east from the red tree you see on the middle of River Delta map. Dock there, and find the spirit around the middle building on the lower floor. You need to destroy 3 potions to get rid of the yellow fog. When facing the mirror across the spirit, left of that is the first one. Simply look from the side and throw Axe to do the first part of the favour.
    Second one is in the building behing the spirit. Freeze the stick that is spreading fog, then look at the side and shoot arrow with Freya to get rid of the second fog.
    Now, the third one. It's right of the mirror the you're facing it. Freeze it, and just right of the entrance is the wall you can climb. Climb it, burn the vines to get rid of the flowers, and shoot the chain in the building with the fog from the top hole to finally finish the quest. You will be rewarded with Svartalfheim's Safety Amulet Enchantment.
  • Consience for the Dead
    Region: Cliffside Ruins
    Land on the shore across the one with the River Delta Gateway. It's south from the red tree island in River Delta map. When you land there just go north and you will see the spirit which will give you this favour. Climb the left-most wall and jump on the platforms to reach the middle, closest to the chain up in the air. Line 3 arrows and light them on fire to lower the chains so you can climb up. Climb the chains and activate the mirror here, then open the doors in the water in the distance so you can proceed south.
    Proceed south using your boat, and take the first left when you can. Swim until the end to reach The Veiled Passage shore. Destroy the left wooden wall planks, flowers, and climb up. Kill all enemies in the next tunnels and you will end up back to Cliffside Ruins, where you can now lower the last bridge. Kill enemies and return to the spirit to finish the favour and get Svartalfheim's Honour Amulet Enchantment.
  • Scent of Survival
    Region: Freyr's Camp
    After you beat Heimdall you will return to the camp. When you take a west exit there will be a scene with Hulka the pig and the favour will start. Inspect tracks on the beach when you reach it. You will need to go right and land on the beach in that direction where Hulka awaits. Keep following the track, defeat enemies on the way and you will end up in area where Hulka is above, but you cannot reach. Switch to day time and now you can. You will unlock a new huge area since you have a paper boar to fly with now - The Plains.
  • For Vanaheim
    Region: The Plains
    After doing the Scent of Survival you will end up here and if you just proceed until you reach the open area the favour will start. Start from the west Mystic Gateway, switch to night time. Open north doors in the open area just few meters east from here, and when you go through turn right. This path leads to The Crimson Dread boss fight. Defeat the dragon to get Vanaheim's Fortitude Amulet Enchantment, Frozen Flame Weapon Upgrade, Dragon Claw x2. Continue climbing the next building and you will find Birgir. Next to him is another Mystic Gateway, use that to send him home. He gives you Rond of the Nine Realms Shield Attachment.
  • A Stag for All Seasons
    Region: The Plains
    After doing For Vanaheim favour you will find Birgir and unlock another Mystic Gateway. You can find your first Stag here, which will start the favour. You need to visit Sindri's House and talk to squirrel to initiate the favour. You now need to find 4 Stags. Return to The Plains in Vanaheim to get the first one, and we need to find others as well.
    Stag 2/4 - Vanaheim, The Jungle area. After you fill the water to all areas, and after you get rid of the ogre on the other side, return with your boat to the entrance. Use the chains to raise the doors and follow this path to reach Wishing Well. At the entrance on the right is Stag. This counts towards The Plains area.
    Stag 3/4 - Vanaheim, The Jungle area. Go where the ogre was during day and cross the vines to the other side, a stag is just in front of you.
    Stag 4/4 - Vanaheim, The Sinkholes. From start of the area make your way until you get to a first river. Across the river is a gate and the stag, so swing across and collect.
    When you find all 4 you will unlock the Pure of Hart trophy. Return back to squirrel to get Pouch of Yggdrasil Seeds Key Item, which you need to reach some areas you can't otherwise. They are used to activate Mystic Gateways in some realms. You will also get Rond of Disruption Shield Attachment.
  • Casualty of War: The Brooch
    Region: The Plains
    You can start it if you find the spirit, which is at the start of this area, when you fall down the wall and enter it for real. Keep going left, but don't go down, follow the left edge of this level and you will find the spirit. Start again from the wall at the entrance, but this time go right and right again, where the purple mist is. Go through that, climb the wall and just continue straight where you need to defeat Egil the Oath Guard. He gives you Crest of Desperate Heroics Amulet Enchantment. Pick up the brooch from the floor to finish the favour.
  • Nocturnal Predator
    Region: The Plains
    Switch to night time. If you enter the main open area you will see some purple stones. You need to find 3 goats and inspect them to activate the main device, out of which then Flame Phantom emerges. Kill him to get Gale Flame Weapon Upgrade, Hunter's Brand Resources, and to finish the favour.
  • In Plain Sight
    Region: The Plains
    From the starting wall of this area go left, down the ledge, follow the path to the other side, climb up and stick to the left edge. Just behing the first rock is a corpse of some deer. Inspect it to start the favour. Second corpse is in the lake in the middle, and soul eater is close, shoot it next to the second corpse to activate Soul Eater fight. Defeat it to get Eir's Armament Amulet Enchantment, and Hunter's Brand Resources.
  • Casualty of War: The Scroll
    Region: The Plains
    Northwest corner of the area. There you can find a door that have some yellow fog behind it. If you turn around and jump across the ledge, you can go straigh and right inside the cave. This is where you cut the flowers, and this is where the spirit that gives this favour is. Start from the Mystic Gateway on the west side of the area. Look besides it, you can see a rock with a yellow glow where you can stick your spear. Do so, and then go towards the front of that rock for 2 more points. When you have spear in all 3, detonate. Pick up the scroll from the floor. You will get Stunnin Fang Amulet Enchantment.
  • Casualty of War: The Stein
    Region: The Plains
    After you fill the areas with water (which you do from The Jungle area), start from the soutwhest boat dock in The Plains and move northwest along the west coast. Come at night to proceeded straight ahead after you land. Beat Dreki and in this area you will find a spirit to finish the favour. You will get Kinetic Resilence Amulet Enchantment.
  • In The Dead of Night
    Region: The Plains
    After you fill the areas with water (which you do from The Jungle area), start from the soutwhest boat dock in The Plains and move northwest along the west coast. Come at night to proceeded straight ahead after you land. Beat Dreki to finish the favour and get Dragon Tooth x4.
  • Return of the River
    Region: The Jungle
    From the start of The Jungle go right, down, left and when you climb the ledges this favour will start. Keep following the path and you will find an elevator behind some red vines that you need to burn. When you get up you can find a stone tablet Lore on the way. Go through a tight space between walls to reach the backside of this part (destroy some wooden objects and then the wall with your spear). When behing, raise the wheel, freeze it, and connect purple arrows to burn the red vines so you can open the gates and fill water to all areas - which is something you need in order to reach everything. When you leave this upper part the favour will end.
  • What Lies Beyond
    Region: The Jungle
    At the top of the damn when following Return of the River favour, at the back you will spot a Draki. Raise the damn gates to lower the water level on this side, and just go to the opposite of the damn using your spear to reach Dreki in the arena. Defeating Dreki will reward you with Dragon Tooth x5.
  • Casualty of War: The Stein
    Region: The Jungle
    At the top of the damn when following Return of the River favour, at the back check one of the sides to find the spirit.
  • Trail of the Dead
    Region: The Jungle
    After you finish Return of the River and get down from the damn this one will start. You will have to defeat ogres at the entrance of the area by riding your boat at the back of that island. Then you need to start from the island where the altar to change day/night is and climb there, go behing, and then go right to climb to the top where The Corpse Eater awaits. You will get Dragon Claw x2, and Sigil of Doom Amulet Enchantment.
  • Casualty of War: The Toy
    Region: The Jungle
    Start from the boat dock just right of the dam after filling areas with water. Land on the first shore to the right and you will see the chest in front of you. To the right is the spirit. From this shore go with your boat all the way where the ogre is. You can go around and land at the back of that part and finally defeat the ogres. At the side here is an item to finish the favour. You will get Fossiled Keepstake Amulet Enchantment.
  • Path of Destruction
    Region: The Jungle
    From the area where the ogre was, go there during day and cross the vines to the other side. Follow that path and you will climb up, where you will start the favour. Go down, raise the fence, freeze it, then go out and lure the dogs back inside. You need to capture them on the elevator and raise it. Now navigate back to the top from where you droped down for a fight with Slag Horn. You will get Regenerating Essence Amulet Enchantment, Dragon Claw x1, and Dragon Tooth x2.
  • Quaking Hollow
    Region: The Sinkholes
    You can enter this area from the southeast corner of The Plains. Go through the circular passage and use the rope to descend. When you do, turn around and enter the cave on the left and ground will start shaking. This is where you start the favour. You will make your way towards The Burning Skies favour, and after that you will battle Crag Jaw a bit after that. You will get Dragon Claw x1, Dragon Tooth x2, and Greater Regenerating Essence Amulet Enchantment.
  • The Burning Skies
    Region: The Sinkholes
    You will eventually reach an area with a dragon in the middle. You can't miss it when progressing. When you do, shoot both stones where dragon lands with your spear to destroy the stones. The dragon will fly away, and the favour will start. Eventually you will use your boat to travel north, you will have to travel through a cave, and you will reach the top where The Ash Tyrant awaits. Beat him to get Dragon Claw x2, Seal of Runic Storm Amulet Enchantment, and if this is your last dragon hunt in Vanaheim, you will unlock the Invasive Species trophy.
  • Casualties of War: The Hourglass
    Region: The Sinkholes
    After starting The Burning Skies favour make your way to the right, pull the chain and look for some red vines on the right. Burn them, freeze the yellow fog and squize through. You will find the spirit which gives this favour. From the area with dragon and altar (southestern part on the map) you will have to use your boat to travel to the north after you open gates. Then, dock on the first shore on the left and here you can find a cave you must traverse. Do so, and at the end is what you need to finish the favour. You will get Attuned Runic Gem Amulet Enchantment.

Midgard

The favours here starts after Atreus part of the story, after Asgard events when you regain control with Kratos. You will visit Lake of Nine.

  • Sigrun's Curse
    Region: The Derelict Outpost
    This is the southwest branch of Lake of Nine; just go soutwest and follow the road until you can climb some chains. When you do, you are here. Sigrun's Curse Favour starts as you start entering the outpost. Swing across, rotate the next platform to the right and swing across again. Defeat some enemies and stick to the right side to find a stone tablet Lore on this path. Now, rotate the platform to jump across, rotate again to reach a red chest, got a bit forward and look up and to the right to spot a raven on top of the pillar. You will end up near the ledge with a chain platform which you need to raise twice to jump across. You can fall down when you get across to find an artefact on the floor, and green glowing object which you can destroy to reach the top again. You can now lower the hook to the lowest level and go down through here to jump across. There you can also shoot an exploding potion to revel a red chest. Go back up and proceed.
    Eventually you will get into the room with another rotating platform. You can jump down on the right, lower the platform, rotate, raise and rotate if needed to jump across. On top you will find a Lore and a Legendary chest. Climb and pick up Fjoturlund Vault Key Half. Eventually you will open a shortcut and return to the entrance.
    Now we need to find a second part of the key. This is in the other part of Shores of Nine. When you enter it from the main path, you need to burn the vines on the right and jump across. This is a new area, The Oarsmen. You start by descending the stairs on the left. Defeat enemies, climb the ledge and check the right wall, ascend it. Defeat some enemies and climb the chain. Fall down, move the chains on the floor to open some doors. You can open the shortcut from here as well. If you go down now you will be in the other part of the basement room, where you can find other Fjoturlund Vault Key Part for Sigrun's Curse favour.
    Now, we go to The Lost Treasury in the Lake of Nine. This is the area southwest from the middle temple in Lake of Nine. Not the most southwestern path, the one a bit to the right. Start by moving the big wheel to the right, and climb it to get up the right side. Destroy the potion here so you can enter the middle. When you enter the next room check behing you on the wall for letter R for Nornir chest. Jump down, move the big wheel left and climb. Since you've destroyed the wall that is connecting left and right sides, you can now go to the right side and pull the stone pillar all the way left to block the wheel. Before you move the wheel right, light the letter C for the Nornir chest. Now move the wheel right to block it there. You can now raise the metal bars, and freeze one of the sides, shoot with purple arrows and quickly shoot the other with your axe, then move inside quickly. Shoot the chains when the doors close, open a Legendary chest, burn some vines on the right. Last letter of Nornir chest is on the side of this vault room. Burn the red vines inside the vault, defeat enemy, read stone tablet for Lore, climb up, pick item, look behing where you climbed and destroy the floor to get The Lost Page Lore. That is it for the favour.
  • Animal Instincts
    Region: Lake of Nine, when you enter any Raider Camp and raid it.
    Enter a camp left of the "Lake of Nine" letters on the map. Climb the ledge, kill the raiders to start Animal Instincs Favour. You will need to raid 4 camps. This is 1/4 and now you need to find 3 more.
    Kol Raider Camp 2/4 - Direclty south of the "Lake of Nine" letter "n" on the map, enter the middle building through the cave entrance. This is the second camp for Animal Instincts Favour. The name of the area is Raider Stronghold.
    Kol Raider Camp 3/4 - You can find it at the end of the lower lake part on the northeast path on the map. It's the right path with the huge doors at the end, and if you look left you can see a cave entrance left of the doors. The name of the area is Raider Hideout.
    Kol Raider Camp 4/4 - Directly south from the main building, the middle temple on the map in Lake of Nine. Check the grappling point on the south wall and enter the camp. You will face Oluf Nautson mini-boss that will reward you with Token of Elemental Evasion Amulet Enchantment and Crackle of Bilskirnir resource item.
    Exit and inspect your ride to finish the favour and unlock the Besties trophy.
  • Guiding Light
    Region: Shores of Nine
    This is north part of Lake of Nine. Directly to the north of "Lake of Nine" letters on the map and the middle. 
    Enter the main area, jump across the plank and go straight. Burn the vines, go under the structure and on the other side burn more vines to find the burried treasure which is actually the Guiding Light, nothing else. Read the lore on the wall, which is also part of the Guiding Light collectible and Favour, not the Lore entry itself. You need 3 more parts to finish the quest
    Guiding Light 2/4 - Lake of Nine: Check below the last "n" letter in "Lake of Nine" letters on the map. You will earn Breastplate of Guiding Light (Chest Armour).
    Guiding Light 3/4 - Check under the letter "a" letter in "Lake of Nine" letters on the map. Reward is Gaunglets of Guiding Light (Chest Armour)
    Guiding Light 4/4 -On the eastern wall east from the frozen lightning on the map in the Lake of Nine area. You will get Jotunheim's Essence (Amulet Enchantment).
  • Across the Realms
    Region: The Eternal Campfire
    You can find it at the top of the hill part on the northeast path on the map of Lake of Nine. When you get to the top you can to right across the ledge, and left where you end up near the campfire. Inspect the object there to start Across the Realms Favour for which you need to find all ingredients. When you go back from this location you can see a heart yellow painting in front of you. Check the floor for the burried treasure, which is the first ingredient.
    Recipe Ingredient 2/4 - Svartalfheim, you can find ingredient 2/4 next to Nornir Chest #1. It's after the card at the start, on the right on the first ledge you can climb to the right.
    Recipe Ingredient 3/4 - Alfheim, The Forbidden Sands, southwestern corner wher Nornir Chest #1 is.
    Recipe Ingredient 4/4 - Vanaheim, The Sinkholes. The area where the dragon is, southeastern part on the map. Start from altar and go north, open the gates and you will see it on the floor on the other side.
    Return back to Midgard, The Eternal Campfire area to finish the favour. You will get Meal of Comfort Resources.
  • The Last Remnant of Asgard
    Region: Lake of Nine
    When you finish the game you will unlock this favour. You need to find 10 locations and defeat some enemies to get rid of Asgard leftovers.
    Asgard Remnant 1/10 - Midgard, Well of Urđ. Close to the entrance of the area, defeat enemies there. Your reward is Fortified Remnants Resources.
    Asgard Remnant 2/10 - Midgard, Lake of Nine. Climb the middle temple and check the middle of the bridge.
    Asgard Remnant 3/10 - Swartalfheim, Jarnsmida Pitmines. Return here through the mines after beating the game. Stick to the left side when you exit the mines and you will see a spear wall. Use the spear, jump across and use the rope on the right to reach the other side. Climb the chains to find this one, defeat enemies.
    Asgard Remnant 4/10 - Swartalfheim, Aurvangar Wetlands. The nortwhestern shore of this area after clearing the game.
    Asgard Remnant 5/10 - Swartalfheim, Alberich Island. At the entrance of the area from Dragon Beach side, after clearing the game.
    Asgard Remnant 6/10 - Muspelheim, Burning Cliffs. Across the Nornir chest, easy to find.
    Asgard Remnant 7/10 - Alfheim, The Strond. After the Mystic Gateway, keep following the path until you reach area with trees. You will get Hardened Remnants (Resources)
    Asgard Remnant 8/10 - Vaneheim, Freyr's Camp. Near the boat dock, when you leave the camp via western exit.
    Asgard Remnant 9/10 - Vaneheim, Eatern Barri Woods. When you cross the shore from the Freyr's Camp, directly at the start of the area, but you can get it after beating the game.
    Asgard Remnant 10/10 - Alfheim, The Barrens. Southwest part of the map. This was the toughest one for me, so I returned back after I did almost everything else and upgrading my equipment.

Sindri's House

When you return from story events here in the hub area, you will meet Ratatoskr. He is the squirrel that will give you some favours and key items for entering different realms. He is the key for getting 100% in all realms.

When you get back from Helheim with Atreus there will be a battle. One of the drops there is Frozen Spark (Weapon Upgrade).

  • The Lost Lindwyrms
    When you return back after slaying Niđhogg boss Ratatoskr will have something for you. Pick up the Lindwyrm trap and now we can go hunt for Lindwyrms.
    Lindwyrm 1/6 - Swartalfheim, The Forge: Northwest side when you have to exit and Brok is besides you. After you climb the first wall using your new spear weapon, turn around and stick another spear to jump across where the rift is. You will get Hind of Attuned Elements (Spear Handles), and Gale Spark (Weapon Upgrades).
    Lindwyrm 2/6 - Swartalfheim, Alberich Hollow. At the top of the Dragon Beach is entrance to Alberich Hollow. After you defeat a mini-boss in the cave of that area, climb the next ledge on the left to find the rift. You will get Gale Spark (Weapon Upgrades).
    Lindwyrm 3/6 - Swartalfheim, Alberich Island. You will need to climb the wall where you can stick the spear to climb it. If you follow this path and raise the platform (go to the end of the left side path and shoot the wall with spear, then detonate to raise the plaftorm). Jump across and you will see the rift in front of you on the left. You will get Gale Spark (Weapon Upgrades).
    Lindwyrm 4/6 - Vanaheim, The Plains. Start from the entrance wall, take a right, don't go right into the purple mist, go straight and under some circular passageways that you see. Climb the wall to the left and follow this road until you see a blacksmith. Keep following the path and climb up where you can see a stone tablet. Continue north from there to find the rift at the edge of the cliff. You will get Gale Spark (Weapon Upgrades).
    Lindwyrm 5/6 - Vanaheim, The Plains. Start from the west Mystic Gateway, switch to night time. Open north doors in the open area just few meters east from here, and when you go through turn right. You will end up in area where you battle The Crimson Dread dragon, and in this area you can find the rift as well. You will get Gale Spark (Weapon Upgrades).
    Lindwyrm 6/6 - Swartalfheim, The Applecore. I returned here after the story, but you can return as soon as you get the spear weapon. Start from the Swartalfheim entrance where you stared the game in the first area, use the lift to the left and you will reach the mines again. There is a Mystic Gateway in the first room, and you need to work you way towards the inside of the mine. When you reach Nornir chest deep inside, left of that chest is the rift. You will get Gale Flame (Weapon Upgrades), which is because you collected 6 Sparks.
    Return back to squirrel to finish the favour, and you will unlock the Rightful Place trophy.

Helheim

When you get back from it with Atreus, you will go back with Kratos. Inside the second area The Gleaming Bale is where you start with Favours.

  • Hell to Pay
    It will be on your way through the Gleaming Bale area.  It's the green portal you have to close. Let Atreus do it, and you defend by killing enemies around. You will get Grip of Healing Harmony (Axe Attachment), and Frozen Spike (Weapon Upgrade) for closing this one.
