Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water - Collectibles and Chronological Guide

You can collect Ghosts, glance them (press R2 after you kill one while standing next to it to glance him/her), take picture of Spectres and Traces. A lot is missable and very hard to find, but I will try my best to point out everything for you. You also need to collect all Files, and this guide is for all of the above.

You can restart checkpoints during chapters to get something you may missed, and if you aim to collect only what you miss you can collect, play until the first saving point and then Select different episode (basically quit the currect episode). Repeating episodes gives you points, so it's not a bad choice to finish what you started.

Some ghosts are a bit random with their appearance, so I will do my best to get the ones you need where you can get them the easiest - for example, some ghost are regular in some chapters, so it makes no sense to chase them in earlier ones where they can be too random to show up.

To complete the ghost list, you have to get the videos for all of the listed ghosts except Shiranui (defeat her during on of the endings with Ren), Shion (Doll 1, Doll 2 both get this unlock after beating Shiranui), and Tall Woman. Two ghosts, Kyozo Kururugi and Yukiho Tomine, perform a final attack after their health depletes; you need to take
one more picture of Kyozo to glance him. For one ghost, Shizuku Mikomori, you have to take a picture of her echo and then glance the flowers that she leaves. This happens during Final Drop (chapter 14) when playing with Yuri.
