Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water - All Endings Guide

There are 2 endings with Yuri, 2 endings with Miu, and 4 endings with Ren. They all take place in the Final Drop (chapter 14), and you get them by doings certain parts of the chapter differently. You will have to play 4 times to unlock them all, as Ren has 4 endings.

I will mention them chronologically. When you get to a certaint point in the Final drop you can start preparing the route to a different ending.

Miu's Ending 1/2 - Good Ending

1:06:03 - Mia's Ending 1/2

When you start with Miu you will get to the Twilight Peak at the start. On the left is Miku. You need to follow her to the lake, and you can either take photos of her (Trace) as you go, or don't. Taking them all (4 of them) means you will unlock Miu's good endings, and not taking them means you will unlock her bad ending (the scenes start after Ren's part).

Ren's Ending 1/4 - Box of Loneliness

1:12:40 - Ren's Ending 1/4

At the end of Ren's 2nd part you will have to choose 1 of 2 options before opening a door where the bride is. Choose "Photo of a Bride" option and take picture of Ose (next ghost) and the bride. That will unlock his Box of Loneliness ending.

Yuri's Ending 1/2 - Good Ending

1:14:30 - Yuri's Ending 1/2 & Top Type-07 Talent Trophy

After Ren's part you play as Yuri again for the 3rd and final time. Her next task is to kill Ose. You can do that in 2 way - during the water (starting) phase, or during the phase when she is above water. When you take enough of her health in a phase, she will start to vaporise which means you can glance her (touch her with R2). If you just wait during this moment, she will switch phases and you can now fight her in the other phase. The phase above water is a bit tricky, you need to glance her fast shorty after she starts to give signs of glancing. Glance her in the water (1st phase) - Good Ending; Glance her above the water (2nd phase) - Bad Ending.

Note that you can defeat her using only Type-07 Film to unlock the trophy for that.

Before starting the drop again, change Yuri to White Kimono costume.

Mia's Ending 2/2 - Bad Ending

1:15:55 - Mia's Ending 2/2

Before starting the drop again, change Yuri to White Kimono costume. Play the Final Drop again and this time don't take any picture of Miku during the Twilight Peak part. Do not raise your camera and just wait every time.

Ren's Ending 2/4 - Love After Death

1:17:13 - Ren's Ending 2/4

Choose "Photo of a Bride" option and glance (R2) Ose (next ghost) when you get control. That will unlock his Love After Death ending.

Yuri's Ending 2/2 - Bad Ending

1:17:49 - Yuri's Ending 2/2

Glance Ose above water now to unlock the Bad Ending with Yuri. You will now also unlock 1st part for getting the Fatal Lens (defeat both phases of Ose while wearing White Kimono with Yuri).

Before starting the drop again, change Yuri to White Kimono costume.

Ren's Ending 3/4 - Inside The Box

1:18:03 - Ren's Ending 3/4

Before starting the drop again, change Yuri to White Kimono costume. Play the Final drop again and at the end of part 2 with Ren, choose "Bundle of White Hair" option and let the boss grab you. One of the times she will drag you in the box and you will unlock this ending. 

Glance Ose bellow water with Yuri wearing the White Kimino to unlock 2nd and final part for getting the Fatal Lens (defeat both phases of Ose while wearing White Kimono with Yuri).

Ren's Ending 3/4 - Inside The Box

1:18:29 - Ren's Ending 4/4

Play the Final drop again and at the end of part 2 with Ren, choose "Bundle of White Hair" option and defeat the boss. You can't glance her, so don't worry about that. Just don't let her grab you becouse it can end the fight. If that happens, you can quickly restart checkpoint during scenes. You can quit this chapter after the game saves on the next scene with Yuri.
