Final Fantasy XVI - Blacksmith's Crafting Recipes

This topic will help you find all crafting recipes and find all of the materials needed to craft these recipes that you unlock. There are 4 quests related with the recipes - Blacksmith's Blues questline, which gets unlocked a bit further in the story, when you finish Rosaria and you go back to Hideaway to talk to Vivian to progress during "Here Be Monster" story chapter.

The other parts gets unlocked as you progress the story - it's easy to pinpoint these quest as they come with "+" quest marker in your hideaway. Usually quests like these upgrade something or you get something for crafting.

Grouped materials that you need to craft all unlocked crafting recipes:

• Briar Clam Shell x40 and Wyrrite x300 can be bought from Charon's Shop in The Hideaway.
• Scarletite x3 - 1 is a reward for completing "Hot Water" quest, 2 for hunting down Fastitocalon, 1 for hunting down The Ten of Clubs, 1 for hunting down Holy Trumpitour.
• Dragon Talon x2 - reward from defeating wyvern enemies that are all over the place. You should have 30 extra to spare during your playthrough
• Electrum x1 - Hunt down Severian
• Gelatinous Mass x1 - Hunt down Flan Prince
• Grimalkin Hide x1 - Hunt down Grimalkin
• Bomb Ember x1 - Hunt down Bomb King
• Stone Tongue x1 - Hunt down Agni
