Final Fantasy XVI - Chronolith Challenges

Chronolith stones (Chronoliths) are the same type of stones you have in your hideout where you can replay stages and boss challenges. You can find them in the Rosaria, Sanbreque and other kingdoms, but at first they will be inactive. As soon as you destroy Mothercrystal (when you defeat and gain Bahamuth's powers), they will become active.

There are 7 challenges, each tied to one of the eikons. To beat a challenge, you must go through 3 stages in level 1, 2, and 3, and 1 final challenge where some stronger monster awaits. The skills are predefined, but your level, and your equipment isn't. You can use the combo ring (Ring of Timely Strikes) to pass through a challenge more easily, which I did for the Garuda challenge. The rest are easy and doable without any help, just go with some attack raising accessories and you should be good to go.

Note that enemies are capped at level 38, so it makes sense to return here once you're stronger (before you finish or after you finish the game).

You need to beat stages under the given time. By performing combos you get more time, which you will need to beat some sponge mini-bosses. This guide will show you where to find them all and how to beat them all.
