Tales of Graces F Remastered - Chapter 01 - Childhood's End

There is only 1 boss trophy during this chapter. If you aim to collect every missable and item along the way, this guide will help you with that. 

NOTE - defeating a certain number of enemies will give you an Soul Orb. We don't really need them because the Grade shop is unlocked for new game in this version with max points to allocate as you see fit. I will not note that during my walkthrough, collect that if you really want.

Lhant Hill

You will start the game with some titles. Asbel comes with Little Rascal, Hubert with Prudent Sibling.

To your left is a treasure chest containing Apple Gel x3.

Defeat the first enemy, then continue to the right and check next to the waterfall for the skit prompt Wellspring of Deceit.

Check further right for a treasure chest containing Glassphere x1.

Go up for a Save Point on your left, and a treasure chest containing Life Bottle x1 on your right (across the save point).

Continue up to exit to the next screen. After the scenes you will receive Plucked Flower x1. Head back down to the previous screen. Go next to the Save Point for the skit prompt Rebel Without a Cause.

Unknown Girl (Sophie) comes with Amnesiac title.

North Lhant Road

Go left and bit up to find a treasure chest containing Glassphere x1. Backtrack to the Lhant Hill entrance, go east towards a Save Point for the skit prompt Seek the Sparkles!. 

Lhant

After the cutscenes, I advise you to talk to everyone in the town, you will need it for a title later.

Enter house southeast of the windmill and talk to a dog to get Apple Gel. Speak with Elderly Woman for a Pickled Plum and check the closet for Pork x2.

Exit the house, go south down the stairs and a bit southeast towards the center of the bridge. Watch the new skit Poor Choice of Words.

If you go east next and approach the big mansion that is Asbels house, you will watch a scene. After the scene, enter the manor and watch the Family Ties skit next to the save point. Go up the stairs and in the right room. Approach the east-side desk for a Rash Justice skit. Check the same desk for the Enemy Book.

Exit and go back to town. Talk to the Bailey who is standing on the bridge. This will open the west exit. Go towards it to get Discovery Book. Check the tree for Apple x3, Apple Trees Discovery and skit The Fruit of Ignorence. Talk to the guard next to the tree and answer with "We're not little kids!" and then answer with Wolf Pup, Wooly Board and Giant Bee to get 100 Gald.

Buy Manual Manual from the shop and there are 2 weapons if you have the money.

Head back to the windmill for the Lord Windegarde discovery. Make sure to climb up and get the Full of Hot Air skit. Go to Asbel's house, climb the first set of stairs and check the family picture for the Family Portrait discovery and the Age Is Just a Number skit.

Exit through the west town exit.

World map (West Lhant Road)

Check the save for the Boys and Boats skit.

Make sure to check the tree the traveler is looking at to discover the Gel Seeds, netting you Gel Seed x3 and the skit Not for Human Consumption. The treasure chest here contains a Glassphere.

Continue along the path to the beach and talk to Turtlez who teaches you about Dualizing, or rather, Synthesis. Afterward, head to the save for the Abracadabra skit. Head southwest on the beach for a treasure with Rice x5.

Keep checking all sparklee points on this road for a rare Magic Carta No. 3. It's a bit random, just keep inspecting these points every time you cross the road.

Lhant

Go east towards Asbels mansion for a scene, but do not enter. Move to Cherias house on the northwestern side for a scene (talk with Cheria in front for a timed event). Talk to her after the scene to get Apple Gel.

Now, head to the manor and inside the west room on the ground floor meet Asbel's dad. Afterward, you will get the Lord's Heir title. Now, head upstairs towards the west room for a new timed event to overhear a conversation.Exit the manor for a scene that eventually gets you the Named after a Flower title. Now head back to Asbel's room/desk (east door on the upper floor) for the skit Chronic Uncertainty.

You can now leave town from the exit near the shops.

East Lhant Highroad

Keep checking all sparklee points on this road for a rare Magic Carta No. 1. It's a bit random, just keep inspecting these points every time you cross the road.

Head directly to the save point for the skit A Cheeky Retort. Head north and down to the river to get the treasure with Apple Gel x2. Check the blue rocks in the riverbed to the left to discover the Cryas Shards and watch the Little Treasures skit. Contiue up the path and to the east.

There is nothing else to do, so head back to Lhant. Make sure to get the A Wild Seed Takes Root skit at the save point before entering the town.

Lhant

Head for the Lhant manor, but instead of entering the front doors go east to the side of the building. Enter through the window for a scene. Exit to the front of the manor for a fight scene.

Your party setup will change to just Sophie and Asbel. Head toward the bridge for the skit A Wild Seed Bears Fruit and then leave for Lhant Hill.

North Lhant Highroad

Keep checking all sparklee points on this road for a rare Magic Carta No. 4. It's a bit random, just keep inspecting these points every time you cross the road.

Make sure to talk to the two guards near Lhant Hill to get an Apple Gel.

Lhant Hill

You can now discover the Spring of Healing (the waterfall from the beginning of the game). When ready, head for the meadow where we met Sophie. Save and prepare for the boss fight during which you can unlock Bryce in 60 Seconds trophy.

Bryce in 60 Seconds

The best strategy here is to dodge whe he tries to attack (side L3 tilt + square button on the PS) and keep attacking while you're behing him. Sophia can help with her skills, you can also change her strategy to be more aggresive - but this first boss fight is relatively easy.

Lhant Hill Cliffs

Grab the treasure with the Pickled Plum x3 behing rocks just before you start climbin up. You should also be able to get the skit Face Time in the beach area (just run around the middle).

Head up the ramp and you will see a chest with Life Bottle x2 on the right (walk here to avoid falling).

Approach the nest just a little further up the path you can discover the Abandoned Nest and get the skit A Brother's Pride. Now continue for a scene just past the save point. After the fight, you can get the skit About Face. Go east to grab the Glassphere and then climb up the roots. After the scene, you will get the Pact Maker title and the skit The Meaning of Friendship. The skit appears when you get closer to the big tree. Make sure to examine the tree to discover the Friendship Tree and watch The Facts on Pacts skit.

You now need to head back to Lhant, but get the skit Fight or Fright at the spring first.

Lhant 

Enter the town for a scene. Afterwards, you will get Richard's Ring, and be on your way to East Lhant Highroad (exit through the southeastern exit near the shops).

East Lhant Highroad

At the save point, you will be able to see the You Can't Force It skit. Head east to where you fought the Pairie Eagle and then go east across the stone bridge. South of this is a treasure with a Glassphere. Follow the path for a scene and head to the save to access the skit Weird Is Weird. Grab the 100 Gald or Manual Manual if you didn't buy it already from the cottage. Back outside, head up the hill to the east.

Follow the path until you reach a split. South (compass south, screen right) is a treasure with 300 Gald. Head down the path and examine the odd colored cow to discover the Windor Cows and get Milk x3 as well as the Stick and Mooove skit. Now head down the northern path toward the port.

Port to Barona

Talk to the kid hanging outside the shop full of chairs and tables to receive Rice and then head into the building. Check the cabinets here for Bread x2 and Lettuce x2. Back outside, talk to the traveler next to the Turtlez for Dried Seaweed. When ready, board the ship for Barona.

Barona

Head into town for a scene. When you can, head up the steps and talk to the Elderly Woman on the bench for a Feather. Continue down the steps to talk to a guard and get a Tomato. The building to the east is the Inn. Enter it, and at the save you can view the Through the Ringer skit. Upstairs, you can enter a room and check a closet for Dried Seaweed x3. Now exit and head north past the shops to the Castle District.

Head east straight away and enter the first house, examine the cabinets for Pie Sheet x2 and Egg x2. Exit and head all the way west now. Go up the stairs twice (one path is blocked with 2 talking ladies), and talk to the left guard for a scene. The two women will move now, so go to where they were.

After the scene, examine the valkines cryas to get the discovery Gloandi and the skit Everything Worth Knowing. Instead of heading to the northern gate, head back down to the lower city and back to the inside of Inn to see the skit To Be a Knight and Pact Attack at the save point. You can now head east of the Inn for a new scene. It's time to leave Barona to the north. You can get a fun scene by talking to the Equipment Shop owner on your way out if you want.

Noth Barona Road

Richard comes with Pact Maker title, but Ascel and Sophia will also have it.

Head west at the split to find a treasure with a Glassphere inside. Go back and continue north to a treasure with Beef x2 inside. Past the cabin, up the hill, you will get a scene. You can enter the cabin and exit to reset the sparkling spawn points. Return back to the town.

Barona

Head back in front of the Inn for a scene. After the scene, you will get the Second-Born Son title for Hubert, who rejoins the party. You can now speak to the Innkeeper to rest until nightfall. When you have control, enter the previously locked room on the left on the upper floor of the Inn, and grab the Rice x3 from the closet. Exit the inn and head to the Castle District and then go east all the way for a scene.

Once inside (after you examine the doors and enter), examine the shining water northeast to discover the Water of Absolution, obtain Water of Absolution x3, and the skit The Boy Who Knew Everything. Check the other side of the altar to enter the catacombs.

Barona Catacombs

Follow the path until you reach a stone door where you can view the Revenge Will Be Mine! skit. Continue on and up the bridge to open the chest with 500 Gald inside before going along the west path. Head down the path first to get the Apple Gel x3 on the upper-right path. Go back and make your way up. You will come to a chest with a Glassphere inside, grab it, and continue north. At the next split, go up the path to get a Life Bottle before taking the lower path to a save and the skit Sticky Situation.

Contiue and defeat Monarh Bat (no trophy during this one).

This is the moment where Chapter 1 ends.
