Tales of Graces F Remastered - Chapter 04 - Adulthood (Part III)

The best tip I can give you for this chapter's boss trophy is to start learning titles and abilities on them. You will need Infernal Torrent skill on Asbel that comes from Handsome Paragon title (learn 150 skills under titles). This is an absulute killer of an art, so make sure you fight regularly.

North Lhant Road 

After all the scenes, you will be on North Lhant Road with only Sophie as your company. You can visit Seaside Cavern if you missed something there, or take the road south toward Lhant Hill. You will come across a shiny Watermelon in attachment in the middle of the road just south from where you start. You can attach it via the Status Menu. Head to Lhant Hill.

Lhant Hill

Head for the save point for the Arrested Development skit. Then head for the field of flowers for a scene. On your way back to Lhant you can get another skit at the save point - The Power of Conviction.

Head southeast to Lhant.

Lhant

Head to Lhant Manor and go upstairs and interract with the star to view a time-event scene. Now, head to the study for a conversation with Hubert. You get the Letter to the President and Asbel's Brother's Keeper title. After the scene that follows, head to the square to regroup. You can now head to the bridge for the skit A Name to be Feared before leaving to the west. You also get the Pressed Sopheria when you trigger a scene before exiting.

West Lhant Road

Stop by the save point and view the A Name to be Treasured skit. Head to the Gel Seed tree and grab the Scale from the chest before moving on. Continue west onto the next scren, and after the scene/fight you will get Cheria's An Old Friend, Returned and Pascal's Adolescent Girl titles. Before you go back to Lhant, make sure to get the 1600 Gald and Peach Gel x2 from the chests southwest and southeast near th cottage. Check the save for Like Old Times skit and inside the cottage for Rice x3.

Lhant

Head to Lhant Manor and go to the room across from the study on the ground floor for a scene and the Good-Luck Charm. Watch the skit Lucky You at the save inside the manor before leaving. Instead of heading toward Strahta, go to Lhant Hill all the way to the flower fields, inspect the yellow start near the big tree to get the Anonymous Letter and Cheria's Sympathetic Soul title. Now, head to West Lhant Road from Lhant.

West Lhant Road

Head to the beach for a scene and then go to the save for the Meet the Oswells skit. Afterward, head down the southwest path to a whole new area with a Seashell in the chest.

West Lhant Port

You will almost immediately get a scene. Afterward, head into the house north from you, and grab the Rice x2 and Egg x2 from the cabinets. Before hopping on the ship, make sure to watch the What Real Women Eat skit at the save near the docks. Now, hop on the ship to Oul Raye.

Oul Raye

After all the scenes, you will get Malik's Erudite Fellow title. Head north and help the poor turtlez tot from bullies and get the Turtlez Tot's Note. Enter the house up the steps to the left and grab the Rice x3. Also, feed the cat. Back outside, continue on the path, grabbing the Magic Carta No. 32 next to the Turtlez. Head up the hill and grab the shining Amaryllis Seeds. The sign here will give you a clue and the man will give you Onion x3. You can check the Inn for requests and view the Never Surrender skit. Down the short set of steps just to the left is the chest with a Book of Sustenance - the password is "100". Before leaving town, check the blue stone for the Stone of Truth discovery, Truth Salt x3, and The Sweet Taste of Deceit skit. It's also advisable to buy new weapons and armors from the equipment shop.

Strahta Craglands

Head to the save point for the What's a Rockgagong? skit and then follow the path. At the first chance turn east, and make your way to Uncharted Sanstretch.

Uncharted Sanstretch

The battles are hard and impossible at this point, so avoid them. Make your way southeast, grabbing the Mastery Tonic C, any sparkling points you see to try and get the Magic Carta No. 20. A bit south is a chest with 5100 Gald, a bit to the east is Arcane Bottle, and Unexplored Ruins skit when you get close to ruins. Now head back to the Craglands (west branch at the interrsection) by foot, or transport to Oul Raye via Turtlez and take it from there.

Strahta Craglands

So, head to the split and go west this time. Grab the 1440 Gald near the cactus and continue west. Examine the cactus nest to the NPC's for the Strahtan Cacti discovery, Strahtan Cactus x2, and Survival Skills skit. To the south is a chest with Pretty Scarf. Talk to the smiley-face man for a funny scene and the Book of Rare Creatures. Head west to a sparkling point in the hopes of getting the Magic Carta No. 8. Follow the southern wall leads to a chest with a Soaring Crystal. Continue left, pick up the shinning points along the way. A bit left and to the south is a Titanium Anklet. Now, enter Sable Izolle to the west.

Sable Izolle

Head across the bridge and talk to the man in white on the right, to get Spice Set x3. Now talk to the smiley face man for a game of Magic Carta. It's totally doable to beat opponents without them getting any card - you can pause the game and check the names through description (find a list somewhere and just search through the page to find).

Win Solo on Easy without him getting any cards, you get Asbel's Dark Enforcer title (Easy is when you have below 20 Magna Cards on your deck). Win Solo on Normal without him getting any cards, you get the Book of Cuisine and Sophie's Great Pirate title (You need 21-24 cards for Normal challenge).

NOTE - Magna Carts are part of DLC packs that comes with the game. You can redeem the items from Inventory if you miss cards.

If you head through the Item Shop, you can go right to get to the Gerbera Seeds from the sparke point. Head across the bridge to the west to the chest for a Book of Restraint, password is "302". Head west for a scene. Afterward, you can watch The Spice of Life skit at the save point. Left from the save point and the entrance is a cat, feed the cat. In the small alcove to the right of the save is the Daunting Book discovery, a Torn Page, and the Handle with Care skit. Talk to the Researcher to the right of this for Magic Carta No. 16 and Magic Carta No. 19. Go down the ramp left of the cat to reach Chef who can make Veggie Sets. Head right around the back of the boxes to reach the Magic Carta No. 33.

Head back to the Research Tower and enter. On the left side of the area you should be able to discover the Somnosphere and watch The Eye of Snorin skit. Now check the star in the middle of the room to get the Blue Cryas and Pascal's Water Summoner title.

Leave town via the western bridge.

Strahta Desert (East)

At the save point you should get the Longin' for a Ga-gongin skit. Head west until you see a cottage (a bit north and next to Turtlez) that you can enter and get Cheese x3. Leave and head north until you see a chest with Spice Set x2 inside. There's nothing else north right now, so go back south and then west. You should see a chest with an Eleth Bottle C. Sparkling point here can reward you with Magic Carta No. 9. When you're ready, head west.

Inside the Rockgagong

Head to the save for a skit All Roads Lead to WHERE?!. Avoid walking in the purple stomach acid as you make your way your way west for a scene. After the fight, jump west across the rocks to get the Golden Smile discovery and T.M.I. skit. Now go east and hop toward the hut, but don't go in. Instead, grab the treasure with Life Bottle x2 and watch the That House Over There skit on the save point. Walk around the back of the house and grab the Fangtear Crystal. You can now go inside the house and find a Rockgagong Flute.

Exit, head direclty west of the house and jump across the rocks. From here, jump west again and again to reach the Book of Preemption. Go back to where you had to step in the acid and head all the way north and west to another fight. Go back and this time go east until you reach a platform with a save point.

Instead of going to the save, go south and follow the rocks for a fight. Continue via west rocks and then walk through the shallow acid on the south side to reach a Blue Ribbon. Jump east to reach a chest with Peach Gel x3. Go west now and grab the 405 Unit(s) of Eleth and fight another parasite. Make your way back to the save all the way up north.

At the save, defeat the enemy and watch The Same Frequency skit. Jump east to the Enormous Egg discovery and watch the Egging Her On skit. Return to the save, save, and go west for a fight.

Boss: Entrails Parasite

This on feels like a regular fight with mobs, so nothing special to mention here.

Strahta Desert Cliff

This is where you can use the flute and call Rockagong to challenge it. Simply approach the northern edge and press X. You can call or challege the Rockagong (call means to enter it again, challenge mean to fight). There is no way you can win (yet), so don't try that. The only thing you can try is try and steal the rare Rockgagong Fur from the monster - Sophia has some skills that can steal (if you've learnt some). After stealing, run!

Head south to be back in the east desert side.

Strahta Desert (East)

Head south to the cottage and you should find the Just a Tourist? skit next to the Turtlez. We are supposed to head west to the capital, so if you're ready go that way.

In the new area (near the save, where Rockagong swallowed you), go southwest and grab the Veggie Set x2 from the chest. North of this may be a sparkling point which can give you Magic Carta No. 9. Instead of going west, collect 1080 Gald, and Syrup Bottle x2 from the northern area. Now you can go west to grab Blazing Crystal, Desert Bananas discovery, Banana x3, and the Private Lessons skit. Head west for the entrance to the capital.

Yu Liberte

Start be heading to the Commercial District (north) and hang a left to make it to the Inn. Inside, examine the snowman in the water for the No-Sweet Snowman discovery and the Climate Control skit. Head north and check the plant for a treasure clue and then leave. Head all the way east and when you see the stairs on the north, go between the arch and the steps (before the first step go left), to get to the Magic Carta No. 34. Buy some equipment if you want.

Now continue north to the Residential District. 

Go right all the way to where Oswell's Manor is and hug the lower-right corner of the house for a sparkling point that gives you some Lassamble Seeds. Go inside the Oswell House, you can find some Water Goggles. Go west now and enter the White Wine Estate. The right desk here has Cheese x3 and another cat to feed. Visit the Red Wine House for Onion x3 and talk to the maid for more Cheese x3. Now continue north to the Govermental District.

Take a right all the way to a new zone and grab the Ba'ul Plushie from the docks on the right side. Go back to the Governmental District and head north to the Presidential Palace, but stop by the left fountain to get Leadership Qualities skit, and around the middle to find Great Fountain discovery, plus Fountains of the World, Part I skit.

Continue inside and trigger the scene with the guard. Head inside the office for a scene. Afterwards, go behind the president to open the chest with a Book of Restriction after entering "42" as the password. Head back into the lobby and watch the scene, followed by the Big Trouble for Little Brother skit. Back outside, head south to trigger a scene and enter the next zone south.

Walk toward the two people under the fountain on the main road for a scene, and then go east to the Oswell Manor for a timed-event scene. Head south in the next area for another scene with two people left of the fountain. Now head back toward the palace until you hit another scene. Follow their advice and go to the west gate for one last scene. You get Pascal's Diagram and Born Scribbler title. Stop by the save and watch the Drawn Together skit on your way out.

Head to the President's Office for a scene and you now have access to the west gate.

Strahta Desert (West)

Head to the save point to watch the No Sweat skit before going further.

If you stick to the upper western wall you should come to a treasure chest with 1151 Gald, followed by another with a Silver Scabbard and maybe a sparkling spot that can drops the Magic Carta No. 10. When you reach Tutrlez, check the red sand people for Sand People discovery and the No Words skit. From the save nearby, head directly south and by the second skeleton you may find a sparkling spot. Northwest of that is an Orange Ribbon. Go southwest now and when the path splits go south to the Bluster Crystal. To the west you may find another sparkling point before going northeast to grab the Stone Charm. Go back down and head northwest to find a Upper Quarry Stone. Head south now to a Core Fragment and then onward to a possible sparking point, save and the ruins.

Strahta Desert Ruins

As soon as you have control, view Full Steam Ahead skit. Head north to get toTurtlez. Take the east road. Head north and when you step on the colored puzzle watch the Step by Step skit. Step on the yellow and blue blocks and then cross to the east. Down the stairs, grab the Red Scarf from the northern chest and continue east. Grab the Freeze Charm and take the right path south. Head down the stairs and up the others to get the Possessed Crystal. Continue to another puzzle.

This one is a little trickier because you have to backtrack to get across. Step on the yellow block and then the blue one. Now go back, making sure to stay in the puzzles "zone" and step on the red on. Now go west and grab the Ancient Embers discovery from the upper-left fire, Torchflame, and A Serious Matter skit. Continue for another puzzle: red, blue, yellow, to get a Battle Tunic. Go west and then north as soon as you can to a new puzzle.

This puzzle is pretty easy. Start on red and then go to blue. Now run up to yellow and it should open the path. Head east and grab the 4680 Gald before going north to the Scene Stealer skit and a save. North is a fight, and it's the one with the trophy.

Trophy preparation:

I've used Asbel, Malik, Sophia and Cheria. The boss is weak against Dragon, Nova, Aerial, and Burn, which means it's the best you set only Burning Strike with Malik (this skill comes from the Bladerang Devotee title that get unlocked when he reaches level 30). Cheria mostly have skills that boss has weakness to, so just level her up a bit.

The absolute winner for this fight is Asbel's Infernal Torrent - Arte that you learn from Handsome Paragon title that comes after you've learned 150 skills (each title has 5). It's a bit of grind, but on Hard difficulty and with DLC SP up item that comes for free, it shouldn't be that hard to unlock it. This is probably his best Art, so it's worht investing in that now.

For Strategy, set Sophia to use only B Arts, and Malik and Cheria A arts, Aggresively. It helps if you also level up your weapons a bit, but Infernal Torrent on Easy obliterates the boss.

Boss: Dispater x2 (Dispater in 60 seconds trophy)

As soon as the fight starts, move towards one of the boss and keep spamming Infernal Torrent. On Easy this is really Easy if you invested a bit of time to level up and learn proper skills. Nothing hits like Infernal Torrent.

After the scene, approach the valkines for the Duplemar discovery and Pitch Black skit. Head back south and take the west path, then go south down the steps and finally west where you can to reach the Book of Duplication and 435 Unit(s) of Eleth. Equip the book on your Eleth Mixer to get double items when it creates them!

Now make your way back to the desert for a quick skit called Keeping it Together at the save. Head to Yu Liberte on foot or via the Turtlez.

Head to the President's Office for a scene. This marks the end of this chapter. We will now go and do some side content, so see you in the next topic!
